The current owners, descendants of the original family, have made it a priority to honor the home’s history by maintaining its original architectural elements, such as the thick stone walls, and reviving unique details like the fireplaces, which once again bring warmth to the spaces. The handcrafted terracotta flooring adds warmth and character to the home, reflecting the craftsmanship of the past. The anthracite-colored aluminum exterior carpentry ensures greater efficiency without compromising the rustic charm. Both the kitchen and the interior woodwork have been completely renovated, as have the bathrooms, which now feature a modern design that harmonizes with the home’s original essence. Additionally, part of the riu-rau area has been integrated into the kitchen, expanding the space and enhancing its functionality.
To preserve the soul of the house, antique pieces have been retained, such as the original kitchen tiles, which have been used in small decorative touches that add a sense of history and personality to every corner.
Every detail has been carefully considered to maintain the home’s traditional character while incorporating modern comforts, transforming this house into a truly unique retreat. The owners’ exquisite taste and sensitivity have been key in every decision, achieving a renovation that respects the home’s essence while enhancing its charm.
